I will be showing you how to create a simple web design in photoshop. There may be a second half to the tutorial on how to code this, but I am not sure yet. I say a couple times that this video maybe be in many parts because it is such a long video, but I was able to bring it down to one big part.

Photoshop is terrible program for designing a website, its too complicated to use and its a pain in the arse! Photoshop is made for editing photos and things like that. Illustrator is made for design and its easier for designing a website and working with colours, gradients and texts.

For the layout like this, do you just use the slicing technique and save it as a html document and edit the code?

Obviously , you know how to use Photoshop but you take way too long in explaining very basic things and in my opinion you waste too much time in them. I do enjoy the video quality of it though.

That intro to the issue took too much time. My intent was to “visualize” the subject for the more creative audience members – but “over prepared” and didn’t give Tony enough time. Noted it right after the show and acknowledged it to Tony who was a good sport.

@xsanupam not sure what you are disagreeing with? But Prince2 sounds interesting. Again what are you disagreeing with?
I am a Project Manager in an IT firm and I so disagree with you. This is so impractical. We already have solutions in format of Prince2 and CCPM,TOC to manage things. We have overseas clients with 91/2 hours of difference between us and we still deliver always without any complaints from our clients. This is very poor reporting and solutions

This wasn’t much relevant to what I want to learn about. I’m just a student trying to learn the fundamentals of design. But I like how you started with a bigger picture in the first three episodes. Looking forward to watching the next episode!
